Product obtained by extraction of active principles of camucamu (Myrciariadubia). Camucamu is a wild harvested plant from small lakes in the center of the Amazon jungle.  The red/purple cherry-like berry contains the highest recorded source of Vitamin C on the planet – on the order of 2–3% of fresh weight. It is a close relative of the jaboticaba and guavaberry, and has 30 times the C content of oranges or lemons.

  • Amino acids valine, leucine, and serine; rich in flavonoids: anthocyanins, flavonols and flavanols, catechins, delphinidin 3-glucoside, cyanidin 3-glucoside, ellagic acid, and rutin.
  • Studies have revealed gallic and ellagic acids, suggesting that the fruit possesses hydrolyzed tannins
    (gallo- and/or ellagitannins).
  • A surprising range of medicinal and therapeutic effects as measured both by traditional use and a variety of phytochemical compounds which experimentally have demonstrated a multitude of effects including energy boosting, mood-lifting and strengthening the immune system, among others.
  • Astringent, antioxidant, emollient, and nutritive properties as well.
